About

I’m Elias and I’m from the woods. Having grown up in the midst of the Wyoming wilderness, the woods were the first place I called home. I place a high value on clothing as it goes beyond just a daily necessity. It is my favorite form of self expression. Going beyond aesthetics, apparel is a way to solidify my identity, a tangible way to express myself. Getting dressed is my favorite part of every day.

As I’m constantly inspired, apparel design is an outlet for me to express my ideas and put them to the test. As a designer, I’m highly analytical and detailed. I believe that every component that goes into designing apparel is important. I want to create clothing where thoughtfulness is inevitable. Apparel design can come with a lot of challenges, the problem-solving that is required in design, especially when working towards innovation, is what makes it such a rewarding investment for me. It’s all a process and I’m there for it.

As a second bachelor’s student coming from the field of Geography, returning to school was not a difficult decision for me to make. Already having a degree and growing from that experience, only makes me so much more confident in pursuing apparel design, as it is my true passion. I want to be known as someone who doesn’t just design clothes out of necessity and function, but also as a form of celebration that leaves a positive impact.

I’m drawn to the creative side of men’s fashion, especially where outdoorwear and streetwear overlap. At the same time, I’ve built strong experience in retail management, a path that strengthens my leadership skills while allowing me the energy to develop my own creative work.
